i'll do funny things to you while you're sleeping. there will be large novels resting opened on your belly. you hair will be tangled with plastic toy people and you'll find lemonheads cradled in the space that your eyes make where they meet the bridge of your nose. oh, and the cartoons that will run up your back and along your arms and the flowers that will have sprung from between your toes. i'll tease your sleep with meaningless whispers and stealth-bomber kisses.

when i ask you about your dreams maybe you can tell me about roller coasters and mermaids and making love and the piracy of love and being seduced by innocent boys who write horrible poetry or anything else besides cold cold ghosts and the sweet sweet tang of blood.
